Shanghai JuneYao Airlines Co., Ltd (JuneYao Airlines, stock code: 603885) is a holding subsidiary of Shanghai JuneYao (Group) Co., Ltd and a “Top 100 Chinese Private Enterprise.” JuneYao Airlines adopts Shanghai as its main operation and repair base and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and Pudong International Airport as flight bases. JuneYao Airlines started operation on September 25, 2006. As of the end of July 2015, it owned 45 brand-new Airbus A320 and A321 serial aircrafts with an average aircraft service life of 3 years, making it one of the youngest aircraft fleets in the world. In July 2009, JuneYao Airlines passed the International Air Transport Association (IATA) audit with a high score and formally received the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration certificate, becoming the first emerging private airline company in China to pass the IOSA audit. Furthermore, it is also the youngest airline company in China to be awarded the IOSA certification. This signals that JuneYao Airlines has attained the latest and most authoritative safety operation standard in the international aviation industry, demonstrating that JuneYao Airlines has formally clinched a safety pass to enter the aviation market in developed countries in Europe and North America. On July 24, 2012, JuneYao Airlines formally became a member of the IATA after stringent assessment. On December 25, 2013, with approval from the audit meeting of Shanghai Famous Trademark Appraisal Committee, “JuneYao Airlines” was awarded the Shanghai Famous Trademark title.
