JuneYao Airlines Successfully Completed the Maiden Flight of its First International (Regional) Route Linking Shanghai and Hong Kong

On December 17th, JuneYao Airlines formally opened Shanghai to Hong Kong daily return non-stop flight. The Hong Kong flight route is the first international (regional) route opened by JuneYao Airlines, and also its 41st flight route since its inception. The opening of this route signals that JuneYao Airlines has become an important member among Chinese airlines with international (regional) services.

In the afternoon of December 17th, Vice President of JuneYao Airlines Ji Guangping took the maiden flight to arrive at Hong Kong. During an interview he told reporters that JuneYao Airlines focuses on target passengers of white collar workers and corporate customers. The maiden flight carried 148 passengers, with an occupancy ratio of 94%, in which 92% were individual tourism passengers. He also indicated that the booking result of this flight was satisfactory, promising optimistic prospects. In January next year it will further increase flight frequency on the Hong Kong-Shanghai route, and it is expected to increase flight frequency to 2 flights per day.

At present, JuneYao Airlines has one flight to and from Hong Kong each day. The flight takes off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 14: 50 in the afternoon, and arrives at Hong Kong International Airport at 17: 15 p.m.; it returns from Hong Kong at 18: 15 p.m., and arrives at Shanghai Pudong at 20: 35 p.m.

To celebrate the opening of Hong Kong flight route, JuneYao Airlines has introduced special discount tickets for a 7-day Shanghai-Hong Kong return flight at a minimum 900 yuan; within one month after the flight opening, passengers can also claim an extra 10 kg of free baggage consignment. JuneYao Airlines Shanghai-Hong Kong flight features business class and economy class; frequent flyer members can claim up to 480 yuan point reward when traveling in designated class.
