JuneYao Airlines Gets off to a Good Start in Spring Festival Travel Season

During the Spring Festival travel season, JuneYao Airlines actively responded to the request of CAAC to set up a Spring Festival Travel Season Leadership Team, which was led personally by Zhao Hongliang, President of JuneYao Airlines. The leadership team provided instructions on Spring Festival travel season from the aspects of advance pre-plan, duty system, personnel backup, and safety production, in order to effectively enforce safety and security work.

Up till February 17th, JuneYao Airlines has carried a total of 382,600 person times during the 2011 Spring Festival travel season, executed 2877 flights, its average occupancy rate was up to 86.43%, which brought a good start in the safe production work for the New Year.

According to statistics, the peak passenger flow in this year’s Spring Festival travel season is mainly concentrated in Harbin, Shenyang, and Changchun, on the other hand hot tourism cities such as Sanya and Xiamen also attracted massive flow of passengers; passengers making return visit to hometown in Changsha, Nanchang, Guiyang are also increasing year by year. To cope with such trends in passenger flow, JuneYao Airlines drafted detailed flight schedules, and increased flight frequency of routes with huge passenger flows, in order to fully safeguard transport capacity during the Spring Festival travel season, and give each passenger the peace of mind in making travel arrangements.

Furthermore, during the Spring Festival travel season JuneYao Airlines also introduced 2 brand new Airbus A320 aircrafts. Up till now, JuneYao Airlines has a fleet of 19 aircrafts.

In the aspect of airport check-in counter, in order to ensure punctual boarding of passengers, JuneYao Airlines fully opened up its check-in counters in Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport, and assigned dedicated personnel to guide passengers to go through relevant formalities. It also set up a “Courtesy Pathway” near the check-in counter, so as to provide special service to special passengers including the seniors, disabled persons, and children who have difficulty in moving around. The reporter noticed at the check-in area that each check-in counter of JuneYao Airlines was decorated with overhanging big red lantern and Chinese knot, which created a rich atmosphere of Chinese New Year.
