Shanghai Association for Non-Government Education was formally founded on April 18. Chairman of the Higher Education Academy of China, former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education Zhou Yuanqing and others were appointed advisors of the Association; Li Xuanhai, member of the Shanghai CPPCC Standing Committee, Director of the Committee of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports, and Deputy Chairman of The Chinese Association for Non-Government Education, was appointed Chairman of the first Board of Directors; Gao Deyi, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Work Committee for Education and Health, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, was appointed Executive Deputy Chairman; Wang Junjin, Chairman of JuneYao Group, Chairman of the World Foreign Language Primary School and the World Foreign Language Middle School, was appointed eputy Chairman.

Wang Junjin attended the inauguration ceremony of Shanghai Association for Non-Government Education on April 18, and communicated with experts and scholars on the topics of developing private education undertakings and quality-oriented education in China.

It has been learned that, as an organization approved by the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipal Government and other competent education departments, Shanghai Association for Non-Government Education consists of private universities, middle schools and primary schools with qualification for academic education, private kindergartens and non-academic private education institutions, and personalities devoted to the study of private education undertakings. It aims to build bridge for exchange and cooperation between private schools, develop a healthy platform for information communication and resource sharing, and promote the construction of private schools.

As the Chairman of the World Foreign Language Primary School and the World Foreign Language Middle School, Wang Junjin has devoted considerable enthusiasm and attention to promoting private education research, promoting school quality orientation, and globalized teaching. The World Foreign Language Primary School and the World Foreign Language Middle School highlight the teaching approach to develop students’ questioning ability, and individualized growing experience, which provides important reference value to the development of private education sector. Following this time’s appointment as Deputy Chairman of the Association, Wang Junjin hoped to develop quality-oriented teaching experience of the World Foreign Language Schools into research model, communicate more extensively with industry insiders, in order to further promote and popularize quality-oriented teaching.
