JuneYao Airlines Fleet “Ushered in the New”

In January of the New Year, JuneYao Airlines’ fleet also “bid farewell to the old and ushered in the new”. The lease-ending formality of 2 retiring Airbus A319 aircrafts is now under way, and 2 brand-new Airbus A320 aircrafts have been introduced in January to ensure carrying capacity for the Spring Festival travel season.

It has been learned that the 2 retiring aircrafts were introduced around 2006; they witnessed JuneYao Airlines’ opening and growth. In order to ensure minimum aircraft service year and fleet uniformity, JuneYao Airlines started termination of lease in 2012, which will be fully completed in February 2013. By that time JuneYao Airlines’ fleet will include 30 brand-new Airbus A320 aircrafts, with an average service year of only 2.5 years, making it the newest and the youngest fleet in China.

Since introducing its first aircraft, JuneYao Airlines insisted on using brand-new Airbus A320 aircrafts. The usage of brand-new aircrafts both ensures safety in aviation, and responds to the energy saving and emission reduction policy advocated by the state government, thus contributing to “clean sky”. Adhering to the policy of introducing brand-new aircrafts represents an important measure to improve comfort degree for passengers, it also reflects utmost effort and high level of concern JuneYao Airlines attaches to safety.

It has been learned that in 2013 JuneYao Airlines will continue to seek steady growth by revolving around “reform, execution, and efficiency”, it plans to introduce 5 more new aircrafts, so that its fleet size will reach 35 by the end of the year; it will also introduce A321 aircrafts at the right moment. At the JuneYao Airlines Annual Meeting on January 18, Chairman Wang Junjin pointed out that in 2013 it must fulfill cost cut through efficiency management, intensify investment in safety and featured operation, work vigorously to promote reform, and optimize work flow and improve system mechanism.
