ReleaseDate: 2014-07-24

As the 2014 World Cup Brazil kicked off, the Ground Service Department of JuneYao Airlines introduced a series of World Cup themed popularization activities at the Terminal T2 check-in counters and lounge area of the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, aiming to let passengers experience World Cup passion brought by JuneYao Airlines during the tedious check-in and pre-boarding waiting process.

The Ground Service Department hang up flag rows printed with national flags of World Cup participating countries under the flight display screen at the check-in counter Island E and F (E6-E12, F7-F13) in Hongqiao Airport Terminal T2, and the colorful flag rows added much animated and dynamic atmosphere to the check-in counters. Each check-in and ticketing counter is decorated with plush soccer toy, which narrowed the distance between passengers and the ground crew personnel, and added a trace of childlike fun. In order to inform in-transit passengers ignorant of match progress due to travel itinerary of the latest match progress, JuneYao Airlines placed a standing rack in the check-in area to display the match schedule of World Cup, and the ground crew personnel will record and fill in match results each day, so that passengers will be able to grasp the latest match results of the World Cup at any time.

It has been learned that during the one-month long World Cup match schedule, the Ground Service Department Economy Class check-in staff and ticketing counter staff of JuneYao Airlines will all uniformly wear World Cup T shirt printed with “LOVE” wording to handle check-in formality for passengers. The flight guides of JuneYao Airlines transform themselves into youthful, fashionable and energetic “Soccer Girl”, and are dressed in yellow red check pattern jacket, blue skirt, with referee whistle in the front to offer passengers with guidance and coordination of self-check-in services with affectionate and endearing smiles. Meanwhile, first-class check-in counters also introduced free World Cup souvenir service to each first-class passenger and passengers traveling on the date of their birthdays.
